God Ordained Authority

The Bible has a lot of personally beneficial and insightful things to say about God Ordained Authority, and we learn that God’s richest blessing follows when our life is shaped and structured by these empowering truths. God has placed people in our life for our own benefit and blessing. Sure, authority has the potential to be abused and misused, and the power and influence derived from authority can corrupt. However it’s important not to formulate a mindset based on fear or cynicism, around a negative experience or upon a stylish disregard for authority. Instead, we should with all humility approach God Ordained Authority with God’s will and intention at heart.

The key to walking in power and authority is by making a choice to live under God Ordained Authority. This is powerfully demonstrated by the life of Jesus. (John 8:28-29, John 14:10-11, John 7:28-29) The evident power to Jesus’ life was His choice to live under His Father‘s authority, and in doing so walked in authority Himself. The crowd recognised it when they heard Him teach, the disciples were surprised by it when He commanded the wind and the waves to be still and the demon possessed man experienced it when even the demons obeyed Him. Jesus lived a commanding life, and the key to living such a powerful life is by walking in and under God ordained authority.

“God raised Him from death and set him on a throne in deep heaven, in charge of running the universe, everything from galaxies to governments, no name and no power exempt from His rule. And not just for the time being, but forever. He is in charge of it all, has the final word on everything. ”  Ephesians 1:20 (The Message)
